"For lack of knowledge my people shall suffer." Such words, attributed to GOD in an inspired account, constitute a strong warning for our times today.
Many, in fact the vast majority, seek GOD in their religion, but they do not understand or are not taught that, in order to effectively do HIS will, yes, the will of God, more is needed.
It is very common to find Christians, who at least know about Esther's account or where he is, Christians who have never read and were never urged to read the Bible in its entirety. And this also applies to others.
How many Jews do we meet, who know by heart the Jewish holidays, but do not remember the eighth commandment ...
Buddhists who do not know the Páli Canon, and affirm that the original writings of the Buddhism are in Sanskrit and that they do not know that many of these writings resemble the Hindu Vedas ...
Or the Hindus, who limit their reading to the Bhagavad Gita, and Tantric studies, forgetting all the rest of the Mahabharata, the Ramayana, not counting the Puranas and Ágamas ...
All of the above is just an exemplification of how immature many of those who have sought something more, something superior.
Maybe they are not the ones to blame. It's the fault of their leaders. After all, religious leaders have become more attached to different causes than to encourage their believers to seek in height and depth all teaching and enlightenment on all that has been left to us by God through his sacred writings.
They focus their encounters only on songs, prayers, meditations, miracles and miracle requests and forget to teach something more. They fail to explain profound teachings, which constitute the real and true basis of all that God has left us. They may not realize it, but they have made the people of GOD to suffer, for lack of knowledge, of understanding. With this, many stopped in time and in their spiritual evolution.
Fortunately, we also see a great number of men and women who have risen, aware of their spiritual need and with an immense thirst for the divine. To these, we encourage you to continue on this truly wonderful journey. Do not be content with the little. Want more. Ask for more. Seek more, and all true teaching will be revealed to you!
May the ETERNAL be with you and in you, today and in all your days!
